RA Electric Radiant-Air Dryer
THE RADIANT-AIR
DRYER PROVIDES FLEXO PRINTERS WITH INCREASED DRYING OF WATERBASE
INKS AND MULTICOLOR PRINTING.
The
RA Series infrared dryers can be designed for between color drying
on various flexographic, gravure presses and coaters. The Radiant-air
IR drying modules can be added to flexo and other presses that
currently do not have interstation dryers, or can replace existing
hot-air units for increased drying capacity "especially with waterbase
inks".

Introducing the RA/Series Electric
Radiant-Air Heater which provides high efficiency state-of-the-art
radiant electric infrared drying for printers and converters
and many other heat processing application. The RA/Series
heaters increase production speeds and improve product quality
for a competitive edge. Can be
used as stand-alone dryer or as booster dryer to existing
drying equipment.

heater units are compact requiring less space than conventional
drying units and are fabricated of heavy gauge aluminized
steel making them rugged and able to withstand industrial
use. Unique energy efficient metallic heating elements provide
uniform heating and reach operating temperatures within seconds
offering better than 90% efficiency. Custom solid-state SCR
power controller offers reliable heater power control to insure
precise process temperature and include machine interlock
for safe operation. |

RA/Series radiant electric heaters help to eliminate on-site
emissions associated with fuel combustion in burning fossil
fired fuel hot-air ovens and dryers such as NOx,
CO and CO2 emitted with gas combustion.
**No
hydrocarbons are produced when using electro- technologies
such as radiant electric (IR) infrared heating. |
